I suspect the Escort bits would be worth more than the winning bid - I hope I'm wrong but it would not be the first Escort based Kit Car that was bought and it's parts used to restore an Escort, Mind you its £280 more than I paid for the Burgundy one....
The 1600 Pinto is a thirsty bit of kit at the best of times, it's not a nice design as the inlet ports are too big for the capacity.
