windscreen rubber

Post by baz » Tue Mar 27, 2018 10:13 pm

Hi All

Does anyone know the correct windscreen rubber to use on a Rickman Ranger front screen? The windscreen was changed but it is leaking so I would like to check to see if the correct rubber was used with a view to getting the correct rubber and fitting it myself.

regards

Baz :)

Hi Baz.

There is already a thread going on about windscreen rubbers, if you go to that or contact the magazine editor he has the info.

hope this helps Alan.

Hi Baz,
I tried Seals Direct, but they were reluctant to confirm the size. :( I decided, in the end, to stick with Woolies as they have a good reputation. I've gone with their R-606 C, which includes the insert. Had a new screen cut by a local glazing company, but they made a bit of a mess of it. So getting another cut after the hols then I will be able to confirm if the seals are correct or not.
I'll update as soon as I can.
Kevin. (Ed).
