Re: Anyone got the 40 yr TAX exemption yet?

All my bikes, all nine of them, are now free of MOT and "tax". And it's my birthday so I'm a happy boy!

Re: Anyone got the 40 yr TAX exemption yet?

I've also got the new MOT free 40 year ruling on a motor bike which only required form V112 when I "taxed" it. Very straight forward.

Re: Anyone got the 40 yr TAX exemption yet?

As I recall there was a form to down load from DVLA site to fill out and send that to them, I was surprised by how easy it was but I've always been a luck person! Re: Ricky on ebay

Zero bids and no sale, perhaps if anyone is interested they could contact the seller and conclude a deal?

Re: Ricky on ebay

Looks like a good project once it's tidyed up a bit, a diesel as well. Shame it's far from me otherwise I might be tempted but I doubt they will get £1200 for it.

Re: 1600 OHV exhaust manifold

Aren't the exhaust manifold bolts/studs in the head? Without going outside with a torch I'm sure mine are, rusted yes but threaded into the head so a standard iron manifold would just have six holes for the studs. Admittedly you might have to remove the head to machine/extract the studs but the mani...
