1st motion shaft/clutch/input shaft

Hello all,I'm looking for the above so if you have one of these for a four speed Ford gearbox kicking about I would be interested. My problem: I have a 1934 Morgan Three Wheeler F4 with a 100E engine and the input shaft is shagged, it lives on the end of a 4 foot tube that goes to the gearbox and as...

Club meet?

Hello all, We don't seem to have had a club meet/AGM this year, maybe because of the low numbers of active members but perhaps if some one has a suggestion of a suitable county/car show then we might be able to meet up and put something into the club and show the rest of the world that Rickmans are ...

Rancher on Ebay

A Pinto powered Rancher in fairly good nick has just sold for £3,705 on Ebay. Is this a good price? I think it could have been better for the seller if it was in the camper van section rather than just under Rickman. Still the new owner should be pleased.

Re: so I bought a Rancher.....

I'm glad to see it all coming together. In a previous post you asked about the tyre pressures I use, when I got mine no one appeared to know what they should be so I inflate mine to that of the contempary smallest Ford Transit with the same tyre size which is 41 lbs/in front and rear and its been fi...

Re: so I bought a Rancher.....

Well done Lee, It's nice to see these unique vehicles being cared for and being used as they should, mine has given us so much fun over the few years that we have had her. On a technical note, if your gas fridge works that's fine but mine didn't and leaked gas so was replaced first with a cool box a...

New addition - Green Ranger-gctid4375

Well done Lee, it's good to know another car has a safe home. I'm sure there are plenty of issues to sort out in recommissioning this car but you are cleanly up to them. However there is the problem of disturbed natural environments: have you relocated the snails in a suitable eco system?

OK, I knew someone would be brave enough to respond, first, separate the issues: 1, Octane rating is a scale using two chemicals, Heptane with a number of zero and Octane with a number of 100, ANY fuel can be rated against this scale as a measure of it's resistance to spontaneity burning, ie, before...
